Just feeling a little dissapointed. I passed REG last year, I've failed BEC twice, I'm currently studying for FAR, and I'm just at the point where I don't even know whether I should retake BEC before FAR, or continue with FAR and then retake BEC towards the end of the next testing window.
It's overwhelming just knowing that all this time has passed and I've studied non-stop since August 2012, and yet, I cant seem to move on. I went from a 68 in BEC to 70. I always think I do okay in my writing part, but I guess I don't. In fact, in the two times that I've taken BEC, I only anwer two essays because one of them I have no idea what to write.
In addition to the above, my 18 months will expire by Dec. I'm getting so nervous, that I can't even focus. It is exhausting, overwhelming, and very dissapointing. :(
I'm having trouble opening the FAR mnemonics. Even though I'm logged in it tells me that the I don't have permission to see it and that I must be logged in. Anyone else experiencing this?
HI, the link provided below does NOT work. Could you advise? Thanks.
i Debbie & welcome! Yes, follow up with Andrea's advice. Also, there is an "Aspiring CPAs" section at the CPAnet Forum:http://www.cpanet.com/cpa_forum/ to help you out. ;-) CPAnet

1) I now have all 48 required semester units to sit for the CPA exam. Could anyone advice on whether or not I should take the following additional classes: an Auditing class, an Advanced Accounting, Cost Accounting, and Advanced tax accounting before I sit down with the CPA prep. books to study for the exam OR if it would be sufficient for me to study from the prep. books and sit for the exam?
2) Also, which prep. books (Becker, Kaplan, or CPAExcel) should I obtain the study books from? Should I enroll in a classroom/lecture setting as opposed to studying on my own using the books?
3)How long does it take on average to study for the 1st section of the exam?
4) Do you recommend studying for the 1st section 1st, then register to take the test ?
5) How long on average does it take to finish all 4 parts if one can dedicate 20 hours per week to study for the exam?
If anyone is available to chat by phone on their process for passing the CPA exam, please let me know.
No prop. I should be the one to say thank you. The forum and exam club contribute a platform for professional to exchange valuable knowledge and experience. I wish that I can be part of the stream in order to build up some precious connections.
By the way, is there any way that I can get notification/email when I have received any reply or comment? I would like to give a quick response to those who have contacted me.

That's great. I hope they are helpful.
I've just started to my FAR CPA exam review using Yaeger and so far it is going good. I'm a week in and my plan is to take the exam in April.

Hi Everyone,
I have the following questions:
