The CPA Exam community & online study group to help you pass!
I took my son to daycare first thing in the morning, as I wanted to use all the time I could to work multiple choice (MC) questions. I heard that traffic was backed up for MILES all over town, there was a backup to get home and I had not brought my books with me. I decided to stop at a restaurant and listen to Roger CPA Review lectures on my droid phone while I waited, instead of sitting in traffic and getting stressed out.
When the traffic finally died down (3 hours later), I was able to get home. I decided to work more of the MC and task based simulations. I felt pretty confident about how I was doing, and was scoring a passing grade.
My test wasn’t until 4:30, but I wanted to have plenty of time to get there and get situated, I left home early enough to sit in a restaurant and study some more on my phone. When it got to be about 4:00pm, I went to the test center.
Once at the test center, I signed in, and put everything in the locker, and started taking the test. I blanked out on everything I knew. I wondered if I even studied for the right section. Everything was gone. I finished the first two sections in 45 min. Even though Roger CPA Review says NEVER take a break, as the clock keeps ticking, I had to take a break. I signed out and went to the bathroom, but I was in a fog. The test anxiety was immense, but I couldn’t give up. I signed back in and finished the exam.
I don’t remember anything about the exam, except what I have mentioned above. If I passed, it will be because I did so many of the multiple choice and TBS that I was on auto-pilot and just answered right.
I hope I passed as I don’t want to have to take this test again.
