I've been on both sides during the exam, working and not working. Sadly, while not working and studying like 50 hours a week I didn't pass AUD (which really really upset me) but then working for most of BEC I'm pretty sure I passed. AUD gave me the most headaches, but so far BEC and REG haven't been to bad, just backache from sitting all day.

As far as knowing when you leave the exam: if your test questions didn't get harder on test 2 and 3 you probably didn't pass. If you had no idea how to do the SIMS you probably didn't pass. If you got confused and marked a lot, looked back and had no idea on more then a few, chances are you didn't pass (that was me during AUD, started getting confused despite knowing the material, and FAR I rushed it). Sometimes the gut feel is right and sometimes can be off base, I thought I had probably enough right on AUD, but I knew right away I didn't pass FAR. I'm sure I passed BEC...but haven't gotten that score yet, will probably freak out and throw all my study stuff away if not passed. :)
