CPA EXAM CLUB

The CPA Exam community & online study group to help you pass!

Three down, one left to pass.

Not knowing these results caused a slack on studying for FAR.  Thankfully I build in some down time in my study schedule for an event, and am not too far behind schedule.

Now that I have passed BEC, I am motivated to get back on schedule and tough it out for this last exam.

Roger CPA Review posting "The CPA Exam Hack: Simple Tweaks to Conquer the Exam"" has helped to focus and  motivated me to surge forward and beat this test.  I know I can do it,  I want to free myself from studying every night and weekend and spend time with my family.

A funny side note,  when my 6 year old son wants to spend time with me, he will come sit in my lap and ask if we are watching Roger. Roger is so energetic and lively he can entertaining my son for up to 15 minutes at a time.  A CPA in the making?

Wish me luck on my Final test.  I can't wait to see the finish line....

@ Hetal bhatt,

I am using Roger CPA Review online.  He is very energetic and easy to watch when you are REALLY tired.  Which helps when you are limited on time and sleep to study.

I watch his video, read his lecture notes, complete the assigned problems, rework the ones I have incorrect until I have none wrong. After I have completed the entire course, I read the lecture notes again.  Review any questions I missed more than once, redo the TBS, and spend several (hopefully more then 3) days using the computer quizzes through the supplied Wiley software.

Roger CPA Review offers some sample lectures.  I would recommend you look at his and a few others courses to see what fits your learning style.  I am a very visual learner, so his course system works great for me.  He uses a white board and teaches the material, instead of having power point and reading.  It is very similar to going into a classroom setting.  Bonus -  his course is not as expensive as some of the others, and he offers discounts if you have failed with other courses.

Another benefit to his course is the flexibility of what he offers.  If you need a year to finish all 4 exams, he offers a schedule for that, if you want to finish it in 3 months, he has that as well.  I adjusted what he offered to fit me, which is what I recommend to anyone that has a family.

I recommend his course to everyone, but you need to make sure it will fit your needs/learning style, so look around.  Good luck, and if you need any other help, let me know after Thursday (taking FAR then).
