The CPA Exam community & online study group to help you pass!
Hey guys. I finally figured out my CPA schedule and the dates I want to take my exams. Have a look!
One of the best things you can do as a CPA candidate is to schedule and plan ahead of time. This is definitely very important as it gives you goals and specific targets to reach, as opposed to just studying and ending up cramming the very last week. As I mentioned a few times before, I definitely plan on taking Auditing first before the new changes are implemented. After that, I plan on taking BEC and will do that before the June blackout month. The summer months are when i'll get the most study time and i'll have time to knock out FAR in the middle and REG before the summer ends. The hours times are a bit subject to change, but that's my goal. Obviously FAR will definitely have the most prep and study time, so i'll use a good 7 weeks to prepare for it. I only have one section so far (Auditing from Roger) and they have a nice 6 month schedule on their website that is very useful. I'm not following it to the exact T, but it's definitely assisted me and helped me plan when I should take these exams, how long I should focus on specific topics, and overall how to best implement and schedule so you don't fall behind and slack off until the last week. Any opinions and comments are welcome! Thanks.
