CPA EXAM CLUB

The CPA Exam community & online study group to help you pass!

The recent podcast that I listened to from another71.com struck me like a ton of bricks. Jeff said: "I wanted to pass but I didn't want to study." This is soooooo true! I would rather spend time with my kids, do the 1001 chores I have around the house or read a good book. Studying for the CPA exam is mundane and BORING!

Hearing him say that made me realize why I have not been able to pass. I went into my last Audit exam (last year) after reading 3 of the 15 books and not practicing ANY MCQs. I got a 55. I was not devastated because how could I expect to pass when I was just guessing on the questions?

Now I am determined to get this done. I have never given up on anything in life and this exam will not defeat me. I WANT TO PASS. I will be diligent and determined in my studies and get these exams done!

I can relate to this Yolanda.  Efficiency and determination... two great things to pass the exam.  I'm using RogerCPAReview.com, but the thing that has helped me the most recently has been regularly reading affirmations and reminding myself of the big picture goals so I can organize and execute each day efficiently.  We, too, shall do this and pass!
