The CPA Exam community & online study group to help you pass!
Hi I am jose Perez and I just graduated from Montclair State University with a concentration in Accounting. I think one of the most challenging things about studying for the CPA so far is the time factor. we all have busy lives specially if you are working full time. I recently started studying for my first part for the CPA which is REG. In this case something that I am doing that is helping me out is actually to wake up two hours early every day to study. it was hard the first couple days but now it is just part of my routine. when I come back after a long day at work I study one more hour to review the material I studied that day. this way you will study around 15 hours per week and you can always study 5 hours during the weekend for a total of 20 hours per week. This strategy is working so far. However one of the key factors is the quality of the study time, meaning no facebook, youtube or any distractions. just make sure you devote this time solely to study and it will make a difference ! ! trust me.
Well hopefully this hint will help you guys prepare for the CPA so far this had work for me. I will keep you posted about my score when I take the Exam
