23 Day Countdown

I am counting down the days to my exam! EEEEKKKKK! I feel like it is so overwhelming to try and complete all of the lectures and practice, practice, practice the MCQs! I plan to study longer hours on the weekends leading up to the exam. Hopefully this time I can pass it!

Memory Skills vs. Understanding

Complete understanding of a subject versus the ability to memorize and regurgitate facts are really interlinked.  I've thought of them as different for some time, but now I can see how these two skills are linked and how come standardized exams use them as a way to measure knowledge.

Complete understanding of a subject and seeing how it works hand-on is a skill dominated by the right brain.

I have wanted the designation of CPA for a very long time.  I realize that if I had made very different decisions a long time ago, I may have had it and it would have been a lot easier.  But life happens and it seems to get in the way...  High school and my one lone college semester was a very long time ago. Planning Challenged: Help!

Hi Everyone - I know I have reached out to many, individually. Thank you very much for your kind words. Some say "Breathe & Relax" and some say "Once you start, everything will just automatically click". So start somewhere and do the work diligently and so on.
