I sat for the BEC section of the EXAM on May 30. I was excited to have finished and felt good about finally taking on part of the monster! I had heard from others who have gone before me how difficult the EXAM is, so I expected the test to be hard. What I did not expect was for the waiting to be so difficult! Three weeks from the test date and I find myself checking for score postings several times a day. (I am not yet ready to admit to hourly checks)

It never fails. Every CPA exam forum I check out always has at least 10 threads started by people who want to know how many hours they need to study to pass a particular section of the CPA Exam. Soon after, a flood of 'I studied for 30 hours the week before' or 'I studied for 300 hours over 3 months' responses start flowing in.

If you do every multiple choice question (MCQ) in your review book 3 times over you will be guaranteed to pass the exam right? WRONG!
